Abstract

Chilean legal culture has read administrative sanctioning powers on the idea of a single state ius puniendi. This paper challenges this idea, proposing a responsive perspective that seeks explaining the new mechanisms incorporated in this area, such as self-reporting, compliance programs or correction of infractions.
