Abstract

The author analizes the impact of the entry into force of the future Civil Procedure Code, in current debate in Congress, on judicial procedures contained in the Water Code, whether if the latter body of law will specifically govern such proceedings, or if it will adhere to or will make applicable those contemplated by the present Code of Civil Procedures. In this sense, the author develops, among other topics, the effect on declarative and special procedures, on enforcement procedures, in procedural remedies, in the arbitration proceedings and protection water proceedings, in non-contentious and contentious administrative court proceedings, and in punitive proceedings.
