Abstract

This research aims to carry out a legal analysis of urban regulation in Chile, based on a critical review of its main problems, based on the most relevant jurisprudential criteria. To this end, it is noted that despite the advances in providing it with a certain level of autonomy as a discipline, the resolution of its multiple problems has had to face the application of institutions of general administrative law. For its part, the convergence of urban planning law to general administrative law has contributed to the resolution of more general issues such as the invalidation of administrative acts, the effects of administrative interpretation, the interaction of different control mechanisms, among others.
