Abstract

In this article, it was intended to understand a group of elders in the exercise of ball-room dancing. This, it was understood that the elder enters the dancing class, initially, as way to preserve and improve his physical fitness; in other words, the prevailing intention of a feeling a good physical fitness exists; but, as time goes by, he/she finds subjective welfare sensations, such as becoming part of a group (integration), and in turn feel support in those difficulties being faced in and out of the group (cooperation).
