Abstract

The objective is to analyze the drug consumption in the woman and her influence in the intrafamiliar vio/ence and maternal rol/. The feminine consumption of substances is a little boarded subject in the investigation of the phenomenon of drugs, since this one is made from a rather mascu/ine approach. At the present time an important increase of the consumption of drugs and alcohol by the women is registered  which is consequence  of the new sea/es of va/ues, coexisting  in symmetrical  form in scopes of competition, stress and the recreational customs associated to the high consumption of substances. The experience of the woman who consumes alcohol and drugs  is difficult because  they have less resources than the men, coexist most frequently with pairs that a/so undergo that prob/em, have children that to take care of, experience difficulties in the maternal rol/  and confront more serious obstac/es in the beginning of the treatment; in addition they display traumas by sexual and physicist  damage and concomitants  psychiatric  upheava/s. This one subject is central  far the nursing since it is the agents of health closest to feminine sex in the different stages from the vital cyc /e, and therefore  can in time  take part in the prevention  and opportune  treatment  of  the drug addiction. This intervention in fundamental becoming in a challenge stopping this one problematic one that becomes an epidemic quickly. The used methodology consists of a systematic literature review using the databases LILACS,  PROQUEST,  DOYMA, PUBMED,  MEDLINE  and  SC/ELO.
