Hypnosis in a case of anxiety

Abstract

The current article analyzes, step by step, the nursing approach through hypnosis in the case of a third year university student. The student presented with a mental block during an oral final exam The situation occurred in the student despite having demonstrated a good academia performance during the semester. During the procedure, the patient had a spontaneous regression to a stressful life situation, requiring management by the nurse specialist.
